Maximum gear range, minimal effort. The SRAM PG-1231 cassette offers the gear range of a 2x drivetrain in a single unit designed for 1x12-speed drivetrains. The progressive spacing of the pinions ensures that gear steps are as small as possible at high speeds and become larger as the climb gets steeper. To ensure comprehensive compatibility, the XPLR cassette is compatible with conventional 11-speed freewheel bodies.

Features of the SRAM XPLR PG-1231 cassette

  • 400% gear range for optimal gear coverage on single-chainring drivetrains
  • Nickel-chrome coating for high corrosion protection and good wear resistance
  • Compatible with Flattop® chains and 11-speed road bike freewheels (HG-EV)

PowerGlide II | The reliable, durable, and high-performance PowerGlide II cassette technology was developed specifically for off-road riding. The optimized tooth profile and strategically placed climbing aids enable precise and smooth shifting, making it easy to conquer any mountain.
